iPad Technology Kits for Seniors
The Flossmoor Public Library is excited to announce that it has received a $10,000 federal grant from AgeOptions to assist with closing the digital divide and minimizing the social isolation among our older patrons through access to technology.
We have purchased iPads and have added helpful and easy to follow instructional videos made to help our patrons keep in touch with families and friends. Each kit contains helpful handouts to get you started – from creating an email address to using Zoom. The iPads also includes a variety of games for your enjoyment. For those who do not have access to WiFi, please also make plans to checkout a WiFi hotspot.
