Plan Ahead: The library will be closed on Thursday, November 28 to observe the Thanksgiving holiday. The library will close at 5:00 pm on Wednesday, November 27. Additionally, the library will be closed on Friday, December 6 for a staff in-service.
Flossmoor residents should bring one piece of identification with their name and current Flossmoor address. Acceptable forms of identification include a driver’s license, Illinois I.D. card, utility bill, property tax bill, lease agreement, and school I.D. cards with address. Applicants will receive a card free of charge.
Children under the age of 14 must have a parent’s signature for applications/renewals of a library card, using the parent’s identification with name and current Flossmoor address. The application must be completed with both the child and adult present in the library.
Renew/Replace your Card:
Bring in one piece of identification with name and current Flossmoor address. Any fines and charges must be paid at the time of renewal. All other rules above apply.
Lost and Damaged Cards:
Please contact the Patron Services desk to report a Lost/Stolen Flossmoor card.
Non-Resident Cards:

Most materials can be returned at any SWAN public library. For example, you can check out a book at the Flossmoor Library and return it to the Tinley Park Library.
